Privacy policy

ItsMyRoof Media LLC (“we”) publishes this site. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. The short version is that we collect very little, because we do not need much: we are not selling you anything and we have no leads to pass on.
What we collect
Nothing you type. There are no contact forms, no newsletter signup, no account, and no lead capture on this site. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or email anywhere.
Standard server logs. Our host records IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp for every request, as every web server does. These are used for security and to diagnose faults, and they are retained for a short period.
Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies we record aggregate page views and referrers so we know which pages are useful. If you decline, we do not.
Advertising, only with your consent. If advertising is running and you accept advertising cookies, our advertising partners may set cookies and process data as described in their own policies. If you decline, non-essential cookies are not set.
Cookie choices are explained on the cookie policy page, and you can change yours at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with roofing contractors, insurers, adjusters, or lead brokers. There is no such arrangement and there never will be — it is the thing that would make the rest of this site untrustworthy.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information, regardless of any other choice recorded on this device.
Your rights in California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may request to know what personal information we hold, request deletion, request correction, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so the opt-out is already the default state.

If advertising cookies are ever enabled on this site, a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link will appear in the footer alongside the cookie settings control.
Your rights in the EU and UK (GDPR)
This site is aimed at readers in the United States, but we get incidental European traffic and those readers have rights regardless.
Our lawful basis for server logs is legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. Our lawful basis for analytics and advertising cookies is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Third parties
Our host processes requests on our behalf. Search engines and AI crawlers may index this site subject to our robots.txt. If advertising is enabled, ad vendors will be named on the advertising disclosure and cookie policy pages before any tag is placed.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your rights retroactively.
