Cookie policy

Categories
Strictly necessary. Two small pieces of local storage: your light or dark theme preference, and the record of the cookie choices you made so we do not ask again on every page. Neither is used to track you and neither leaves your device. These are set without consent because the site cannot work as intended without them.
Analytics — consent required. Aggregate page views and referrers, so we know which pages are worth maintaining. Off unless you turn them on.
Advertising — consent required. Not currently running. If advertising is enabled in future, the vendors will be named here before any tag is placed, and advertising cookies will remain off unless you accept them.
Your choices
The banner appears on your first visit. You can accept all, reject everything non-essential, or set each category individually.
To change your mind later, use Cookie settings in the footer of every page. It is in the same place on every page.
Rejecting non-essential cookies is a completely reasonable choice and the site works identically either way. Advertising is what will eventually pay for this site, but not at the price of making the choice dishonest.
Consent Mode
Where an advertising or analytics tag supports it, we signal your choices using Google Consent Mode v2, so analytics_storage and ad_storage are set to denied unless you have granted them.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing, regardless of the choices recorded here. The banner will tell you when it has detected one.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may reset your theme preference and cause the consent banner to reappear, since the record of your choice is itself stored locally.
